"To Easy LOL" - The Manhunt Is On After 10 Inmates Escaped New Orleans Prison Through Hole Behind A Cell Toilet, Left Notes On Wall Taunting Guards, Authorities Believe It's An Inside Job

I bet this makes Michael Scofield sick to his stomach. He must have had to go through 10+ painful, multiple hour long sessions, and forked over thousands of dollars to a tattoo parlor for a gigantic not-even-that-cool tattoo of the Fox River State Penitentiary floor plans disguised as some stupid gothic angel vs devil artwork covering his entire back. Then got himself intentionally thrown in prison, and took 13 episodes of television just to break his wrongfully convicted brother out of prison. And that was just the beginning. He ended up having to fake his own death. It was a whole ass thing. Changed the course of his life forever. And he had a great life before that. Michael Scofield was a structural engineer. But the Orleans Parish Justice Center just let 10 violent criminals, not one of which who knows the difference between a preposition and an adverb, just walk out a hole in the wall of their own damn cell. That's way to easy lol.

Running free into the night after escaping prison has to be about the #1 craziest adrenaline rush in the world. I know you can't "technically" cheer for the prisoners in a situation like this. Which is always my first instinct. But then you look up what they did and are reminded there's a bunch of people dead because of them.

Dkenan Dennis, 24, charged with two counts of armed robbery with a firearm, illegal carrying of a weapon, illegal possession of stolen things, extortion, theft of a firearm by misappropriation, possession of firearm during a crime of violence, illegal transmission of monetary funds and simple battery.

Robert L. Moody, 21, charged with aggravated second degree battery, illegal carrying of a weapon, obstruction of justice, two counts of illegal possession of stolen things and other drug charges.

Kendell Myles, 20, charged with intentional concealment of a weapon, possession of contraband in prison, attempted second-degree murder, simple criminal damage to property, discharging a firearm during a violent crime, criminal conspiracy to armed robbery, armed robbery with a firearm and aggravated flight from an officer with life endangered.

Gary C. Price, 21, charged with seven counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree battery, aggravated assault with a firearm, false imprisonment with a weapon, domestic abuse, simple assault, aggravated criminal damage to property and resisting an officer.

Corey E. Boyd, 19, charged with second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, aggravated battery, illegal carrying of weapons involving a crime, and obstruction of justice.

Lenton J. Vanburen Jr., 26, charged with illegal carrying of weapons, possession of a firearm or weapon by a felon, obstruction of justice and introducing contraband in prison.

Jermaine Donald, 42, charged with second-degree murder, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm or weapon by a felon and obstruction of justice.

Antoine Massey, 32, charged with domestic abuse involving strangulation, theft of a motor vehicle and a parole violation.

Derrick Groves, 27, charged with three counts of attempted second-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder and battery of a correctional facility employee.

Leo O. Tate Sr., 31, charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, possession of a firearm or weapon by a felon, illegal carrying of a weapon, motor vehicle theft and multiple drug charges.

Although to be fair, the wall does say "WE INNOCENT". So maybe all 10 of them have been railroaded. But regardless, part of me thinks these escapees shouldn't even get time added onto their sentence as a result of this escape. To make escaping prison that easy for them has to qualify as entrapment. I don't blame my dog if he takes of bite of my food when I leave it sitting out unattended. If you aren't going to bother locking your prisoners up between 4 complete walls, then what do you expect them to do? Abide by the rules? That's ridiculous. In reality, these escapees probably did that prison a favor. Bet money someone magically finds the money for the Orleans Parish Justice Center to fix their glaring security issues now. In a roundabout way, by escaping prison, these prisoners may have made the city of New Orleans a safer place. You know… assuming none of them are trying to get a few more murders off in the last free moments of their lives.

At the time of me writing this, New Orleans has managed to wrangle in just 3 of the 10 escaped prisoners.

They claim they have "strong" and "active" leads on the remaining 7. They're offering a $5k reward for any tips that lead to bringing them in. They also are claiming that they believe the escape may have been an inside job.

Fox News – It is unclear whether the opening was created by the inmates or if it was already present. Chief of Corrections Jeworski "Jay" Mallett said the hole could not have been created from the inside.

"We know that this could not be removed from the inside, so we are investigating that to see exactly who entered these areas, what kind of work was done, if there was work being done and if this is an inside job," Mallett said.

Are they really sure that shitty looking toilet attached to the world's most crumbly looking wall couldn't have been removed from the inside? There's really no way some prisoners, who spend their whole lives in that cell, mostly unsupervised, with nothing but time on their hands couldn't have found a way to yank the toilet from their cell wall? Nothing about what's happened in that prison over the last however meany hours leads me to believe they have a great handle on what can and can't be accomplished inside of there. I'm sure they know something I don't, but it doesn't seem to farfetched too me that some prisoners would be able to rip that toilet off from inside the cell.

If it turns out it was not an inside job, and they were wrong about the hole being made from the outside, it's pretty fucked to be throwing the prison guards under the bus. They're obviously not blameless. I know they should have been more attentive. But there's not a prison guard in America who's paid enough to deal with the shit they deal with. If they're not even going to provide them with structurally sound walls in a prison that's reportedly at 60% staffing, then that's WAY more on the prison system than the prison guards themselves.

Good luck with your manhunt New Orleans. On the record, I'm rooting for you, and not the violent criminals. Although a well edited Netflix documentary (or possibly a drama) that humanizes the escapees and leaves out some important details of their crimes could sway me.
