Rally Dart: Si Woo Kim Lights Up A Cigarette In The Middle Of The PGA Championship, Promptly Birdies Then Chips In For Eagle

If you're a golfer, even the most casual one, you know the key to flipping a round. A rally. Doesn't matter what type of rally, rally dart, rally Lucy, rally drink, rally dog, you need something to get the juju going. Golf is as much mental as anything else. You get in a bad headspace and that slice is getting worse or every chip is going to be bladed across the green.

That's no different for Si Woo Kim, or anyone else playing at the PGA Championship. He was sitting at +2 before going to 8 when the rally dart kicked in. Birdie there. Bunch of pars before he finally got the payoff. A chip in eagle 15, now sitting t-15th and at -1.

You look at the leaderboard right now with the morning group finishing up and this is what you need. All the big names are struggling and the top of the leaderboard is Stephen Jaeger (-5), Ryan Gerard (-5), Luke Donald, Ryan Fox and Alex Smalley all at -4 as I blog this. The point being, if you're in a couple strokes and the main favorites are sitting in the lead you gotta feel good. You gotta keep the rally dart going whenever you can. Just keep this away from Si Woo during the round:

He's going into the Green Mile as I blog this. That is the part of the course just destroying dudes. Gotta save the rally dart for this.
