"Should Have Left It Up Colts, This Was Funny" - In A SHOCKING Turn Of Events, Tyreek Hill Was NOT OFFENDED By The Colts Schedule Release Video

The NFL is so fucking stupid. When the Colts pulled their schedule release video, and claimed it was partially due to it being insensitive to Tyreek Hill, because the very opening of the video, Colts vs Dolphins (Week 1), featured Tyreek Hill (as a Minecraft dolphin) being arrested by the Minecraft Coast Guard. Nobody thought it was that bad. You can barely even call it edgy. Sure, the way Tyreek Hill was arrested for speeding before a game this year was pretty bullshit. But mere hours after Tyreek Hill was pulled over and handcuffs, Tyreek Hill scored a touchdown and promptly went for a handcuffs celebration. Immediately making light of the situation himself.

When the Colts pulled their video, citing Tyreek Hill's feelings, you knew there was no way Tyreek Hill was actually "offended" by it. Considering all the very real legal problems Tyreek Hill has had in his past. Problems of the domestic and violent nature. The Colts bringing up the time Tyreek Hill was wrongfully treated by the police is almost doing him a favor. If anything it diverts the attention away from that times he was arrested for SUCH GOOD reasons. I said as much in my Colts schedule release blog earlier.

Of course Tyreek Hill isn't offended by a dolphin Coast Guard arrest joke. I'm going to go ahead and take a wild guess that it wasn't Tyreek Hill they were worried about offending. I'm not even sure it was a group of people they were worried about offending. I actually haven't seen a single tweet from someone who's claiming to be offended. Not that I've looked overly hard, but on today's internet, if there's a single offended person, they usually present themselves. That's the tweet that gets put on the For You page, and garners thousands of replies from people bemoaning all the snowflake pussies, when it reality it's maybe 2 or 3 total people.

Of course it was the NFL who forced them to include the "Apologies to Tyreek Hill" caveat. The Colts depicted an NFL superstar in handcuffs swimming next to a boat that says Coast Guard, and Roger Goodell couldn't stand to have that cartoon Minecraft arrest image out there. That image (which has now been given more attention than it ever would have had the Colts not been forced to pull the video) could have done IRREPARABLE DAMAGE to The Shield™.

If only the Colts could have stuck with their Microsoft copyright excuse and been on their merry way, then they would have come out of this looking slightly less like idiots. Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there is a large group of wildly offended NFL fans out there who were forced to call off work this morning because they're so distraught over how the Colts' social media team treated the Minecraft dolphin version Tyreek Hill in their schedule release video. I suppose people have been wildly offended about dumber things on the internet.
