Darius Garland Would Like To Remind Everyone That The Cavs Have Came Back From Down 3-1 Before (When They Had LeBron and Kyrie)

Great point from Darius Garland here. The whole world has determined that the 2025 Cavs are dead because they are down 3-1 to the Pacers but how quickly does everyone forget that the very same team came back from down 3-1 nine years ago in the NBA Finals.

Now I could see where the detractors might point out that the 2016 Cavs had LeBron and Kyrie in their primes, but I would counter that with the point that the 2025 Pacers aren't the 2016 Warriors either. The fact of the matter is that while Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, Deandre Hunter, Ty Jerome, and Kenny Atkinson have zero prior experience digging their way out of such a huge hole in playoffs, that doesn't matter as much as the fact that the last notable team to do it was wearing the same colors we do.

History tends to repeat itself, and I for one am not nervous whatsoever. We've been here before with two of the very best players in the NBA (including probably the most talented player to ever walk the planet) and we'll do it again with a bunch of dudes getting punked by the Pacers.

Mood heading into tomorrow night:
