Jaxson Dart Became The First QB To Ever Achieve A Perfect 100 SPS Score, Which Predicts Future Success For NFL Players And Has Been Dead-On Balls Accurate So Far
I'm not sure about you guys, but that is all I needed to see to convince myself that Jaxson Dart is not only going to be a legit starting NFL quarterback but a star if not a superstar NFL quarterback. Granted, I had never heard of the SPS before quite literally this morning when a member of the Daniel Jones Jaxson Dart Hype Group DM'd it, which led to me doing a bunch of digging to make sure this wasn't some made up stat to troll Giants fans that ultimately ended in a Deez Nutz joke. But based on everything I've researched, which was essentially Googling the SPS and reading other blogs with somehow less credibility than this digital smut rag, the SPS seems legit!
To clarify, I still don't know how the hell the SPS is calculated and when I tried to figure it out from a post on Reddit, my eyes glazed over when I started seeing old math terms like coefficient show up. But as a wise woman once said around these parts, Numbers Never Lie, and that has never rang out more true based on the list of quarterbacks at the top of the SPS scores list. You have Super Bowl winners, MVPs, and outright legends, with Kyler Murray being the weakest link at the 8 spot. Based on a couple of names on the list, SPS clearly doesn't character. But whatever it does stress clearly indicates a QB will be really fucking good to start their career.
The best part about drafting a quarterback in the first round is the amount of hope he gives the fanbase before he even steps on the field and things like this SPS list perfectly encapsulates that hope. Giants fans, take that SPS score home, throw it in a pot, add some pre-draft hype videos, and tweets like this. Baby, you’ve got a stew going!
So yes, I truly believe Jaxson Dart is going to be a stud based on something I didn't know existed yesterday and still don't know how it is calculated. However if you disagree with my opinion, you are at best a hater and at worst someone that doesn't believe in math as a concept because this is the type of rationality all fans should have when they are still in the honeymoon phase with their new rookie QB. I can't wait to see Jaxson on the field this season and in Canton in roughly 20 years.
