Pacers Haters Are Jumping For Joy After A Healthy Cleveland Team Spanked Indiana

Woof. That was rough. During that 2nd quarter I was having flashbacks of Tom Crean vs the zone defense. Nightmare fuel, but I'm not worried about this series in the slightest. I know the haters out there are drooling over this loss to yell, "told you so, the Pacers can only beat hospital rosters." Obviously the #1 seed in the East is going to be better with everyone healthy, but this was about effort. From the opening tip, anyone with eyeballs could see the Cavs wanted it more being down 0-2. I'm fluent in Pacers and while this team is a contender, they are still young and immature. Last year the Pacers couldn't get up for a game after a big win, this year they are better, but still not great. Not taking anything away from the Cavs, but two things can be true. Blaming the refs is so damn lame, but I think both sides can agree the refs made that game almost unwatchable. The refs were all around straight BUNS.

Breaking News: Donovan Mitchell is good. Also, if I don't already, I will hate Max Strus by the end of this series. I have no idea how Mitchell finishes after contact what feels like all the time. Mitchell has played like a superstar in every single game. Meanwhile Haliburton and Siakam (for a half) need to have their faces put on a milk carton the way they went missing.

Pacers fans, we didn't pray hard enough. It was the American Pope's first job to deliver the Pacers a win - nothing. Sad. Shout out to Benn Mathurin, and the biggest of shout outs to Myles Turner for coming back from injury and walking like a one man man army to start that game. Going up 3-0 is obviously ideal, but this loss will get the boys focused up and locked in. It's time to get a W on Sunday for the moms on Mother's Day. Mrs. Haliburton hasn't been banned from attending games, time for Tyrese to deliver the victory. We're onto Game 4.
