The Perfect Male Argument: Pro Golfer Harry Higgs Spent A Press Conference Breaking Down How He Could Dunk If He Trained For 2 Years
I can't stress how much I love this. First, shout out Hank for the dunk bet recently:
And now we have Harry Higgs breaking down how he could dunk in the next decade if he trained 2-4 years for it. It's the perfect male argument. Look, we all want to dunk and apparently all women think we just dunk:
It's the epitome of coolness. I'm way more jealous that I played with guys or know guys that could dunk than I am of anyone with hair or over 5'11" or that still have both their Achilles. I'd argue the rank of coolness for guys is simple, in order this is how you know you're cool:
1. Fastest kid at school
2. Can hit a baseball the furthest around the age of 12
3. Can dunk
That's really it. Clothes don't matter, hairstyle doesn't matter, none of it matters if you were one of those three. I'm a few years older than Harry Higgs here and the argument is a little different when you're pushing 40, living with your kids in the suburbs. It tends to be golf related. But nothing gets me going look a good delusional basketball bet. Harry even admits that we'll never find out. That's the key here. You gotta say you get a decade, you need 2-4 years to train and then keep pushing it off. Never let them know you can't dunk officially, just give them the argument about it.
