QB Controversy? The Browns Gave Dillion Gabriel The First Snap Of Rookie Mini Camp But Shedeur Sanders SHINED

Let me be very clear: this is a joke. I understand this is a silly headline for a dumb blog. But holy fucking shit, the rest of the media does NOT. Today was the most interesting day in Cleveland sports since perhaps the Cavs won the 2016 finals. That's right everyone....it was Day 1 of Browns minicamp. And (gasp) they gave the first snap to the higher picked quarterback, Dillion Gabriel.

BUT NOT SO FAST! Multiple outlets are reporting that 2nd string (of the rookies) Shedeur Sanders was "threading the needle".....

...throwing PERFECT passes....

….and tossing DOTS…..

Do we have a QB controversy on our hands? Who takes snap 1 tomorrow? I will be GLUED to my computer waiting to see.

I hope the Browns are happy here. This is exactly what they signed up for. I don't have anything against either QB and I hope one pans out, but this is the type of media circus you create when you mortgage the franchise for Deshaun Watson, trade for Kenny Pickett, sign Joe Flacco, draft Dillion Gabriel in the 3rd round, and then trade up to draft Shedeur Sanders in the 5th round. This is going to be the microscope we're under for the entire year…..all for the outcome to remain the same: the whole world will reiterate their belief that the Cleveland Browns are the biggest dumpster fire in sports.
