The St. Louis Cardinals Are 5-0 Since Jon Gruden Gave Them A Pregame Visit And Helped Get Their Season Back On Track

What can't this guy do? He knows all the words to "Pink Pony Club", he can get an office full of NARPs to run and execute a football play while identifying and picking up the blitz, and he can also help get a baseball team back on track like he did with the St. Louis Cardinals. 

Last week Coach Gruden took a trip to St. Louis for the Blues game but also decided to pay a little visit to the Cardinals clubhouse to chat with some of the guys, I'm not 100% sure with what he said but whatever it was, it worked. The Cards were rained out on the day Coach Gruden visited but that didn't stop them turning their season around. Since Coach Gruden stepped foot in their clubhouse they're 5-0 and have crawled back to .500 at 19-19. They swept a doubleheader vs the Mets on Sunday and then swept the hapless Pirates all on the heels of Gruden giving them a pump up speech. Football guys are just different, I think this proves it. 

Of course he had to sit in on a meeting and see how former HS QB Lars Nootbaar handled his snapcount. I love how much he loves snap counts. I know the Cardinals overseas just elected their new Pope, but we seriously have to look into the city of St. Louis giving some kind of honor to Gruden if the Cardinals keep this up. Undefeated since he graced their presence and may have turned the season around, get this guy crowned in that city. 

Who would have thought that Jon Gruden would be the good luck charm for this team? He really has no choice but to follow them around the country to see if they can keep this thing going while he's around them. Let's see how long they can ride this Gruden induced winning streak.
