Draymond Green Completely Crashed Out Postgame In Response To Getting A Tech For Elbowing Naz Reid In The Head

Early in the second quarter, Draymond Green found himself in another sticky situation when he decided it was a good time to deliberately below Naz Reid right in the head. A completely avoidable play, but this is Draymond we're talking about.

A play like this is always going to be reviewed and is always going to be deemed a tech. Honestly, a flagrant isn't out of the question either as an option when you have a play like that. Any sort of contact to the head is pretty automatic, no matter who you are as a player. Even if someone does it by accident, the league tends to protect the player who just got his face smashed in.

When the person who does it is Draymond Green, well then there's always more to the story. With him, it's never an accident. This is already the 3rd time this postseason he's had a situation like this. Newsflash, they are not all coincidences. The way he reacted after getting the tech by losing his shit was so bizarre to see given that again, this is Draymond Green we're talking about here. We all know what happened in that moment, because we've been watching it for 10+ years.

After that whole incident, you knew what was coming next. I guessed at the time that it was going to be going on his podcast, talking about how there's a clear agenda against him and a double standard and blah blah blah. Little did I know Draymond wouldn't even wait that long

Uhhh, yikes man. Take a deep breath and maybe use some of those exercises you supposedly learned in therapy, because that looks like a dude who is crashing the fuck out. I get it, a 5th tech is a big deal this early in the playoffs, given the suspension that's on the horizon, and not having Steph around makes that a huge concern. You also elbowed a dude in the head. That is not an agenda. That is a consequence of your action. This isn't really a situation where Draymond did nothing and the bozo refs decided to make something up in order to screw him over. He literally elbowed Naz Reid in the head! It's on film!

And it's also a bit insane to suggest that he's actually the victim in all of this. The reason he has this reputation is because he keeps doing shit like this! The league can't just sit back and let Draymond do whatever he wants on the court. He's punching and choking and kicking people. That's not basketball! If you do things that are not basketball related, there is a punishment for it!

Hell, even his own coach knows the deal

How does that rant help anything right now? How do we think officials are going to treat and react around Draymond now? The dude already gets the longest leashes with the officials that I've ever seen, considering he freaks out after every single whistle. But apparently, there's an agenda against him to look like a crazy person? What?

Surely this will be well received and won't be a huge distraction for a Warriors team that now returns home desperate to find a way to win a game without Steph Curry. Now that's leadership, baby. Elbow a dude in the head and then crash out after the game because you were given a tech for it, despite that action being against the rules. Cause a completely avoidable distraction in a massive playoff series for no reason other than you can't stop doing shady shit and claim you're actually the one who has been slighted. That everyone is out to get you. That makes a ton of sense.

Just the sort of thing you want to have to deal with heading into a very important Game 3. Good luck!
