I actually love the tradition that golf has. We know about the Masters Dinner, probably the most famous dinner one can get to. But now we're a week away from the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow and Xander has to prep for it. Smart to stick with what you know. I say this all the time with gifts. Don't go too far outside the box. If you're a cigar smoker, bring what you know and like he said you can give it away if people don't like it. Consider this blog for those not married yet, likely younger and planning their wedding. The gift you give to your groomsmen is something like this. I still use the humidor I got from one of the weddings I was in. It's great, simple to store and looks nice. Go with something like that, an overnight bag, something people can use. I know we're talking about multi-millionaires here, but it's still an elite gift.

It feels good to have a major back in our lives. It's the best in the summer when we're just itching for something once NHL/NBA wraps up. I do miss a good west coast PGA Championship just so we have primetime golf, but Quail Hollow should deliver. You obviously have the Jordan Spieth career grand slam being in play, see how Rory plays at a course he dominates, Scottie being Scottie or a first-time winner. Then there's Xander. Guy shows up in majors and can repeat, no one should be surprised about that.
