My Daily Rundown - Tuesday May 6, 2025 - Disney is Wildly Expensive But Yah No ShIt It Needs To Be, Ryan Poles Has Made Too Many Horrible Decisions To Pick Which Is The Worst, No Offense To Sabrina Carpenter But She’s No Tyla, and Microsoft is the Dumbest Giant Company Since Sears

HERE'S MY DAILY RUNDOWN FOR TUESDAY MAY 6TH.

TOPIC 1- DISNEY IS CRAZY EXPENSIVE BUT IT NEEDS TO BE

Disney is insanely expensive. It has been forever and is no big secret. This is a tough take but it needs to be. The upkeep on a place like that has got to be fucking insane. It literally feels magical walking around there. Every single flower is meticulously manicured, every stitch on every characters costumes are perfect. You can't run an operation like that on bargain prices. Not to mention, what do you want? This place to be affordable like Six Flags or a Carnival Cruise and all the riffraff and trash to ruin it like they do everything else? 

I don't think Disney was intended to be a once a year experience for kids. (I say this as somebody who never got to go until I took myself when I was like 24.) It's a once in a childhood thing and for good reason. Sucks but its true. 

TOPIC 2 - RYAN POLES HAS MADE FAR TOO MANY TERRIBLE DECISIONS TO CHOOSE WHICH ONE IS "THE WORST"

Two words for you. Matt. Eberflus. 

Both these guys are right, and both these guys are wrong. 

Eddie is right that Nate Davis is one of the most pathetic sacks of shit that's ever stepped foot on a football field. And Chief is right that letting Montgomery walk and then paying Swift even more money was as boneheaded as boneheaded gets. 

But I don't care if they signed Saquan Barkley. Even he wasn't going to be productive behind that embarrassment of an offensive line last year. 

If you really want to nitpick, let's not forget the Claypool trade. That pick the Steelers received in return for the corpse of Chase Claypool (#33) turned into Joey Porter. It also could’ve turned into Sam LaPorta, Brian Branch, or Jayden Reed. 

TOPIC 3- SABRINA CARPENTER IS HOT, YES, BUT SHE'S NO TYLA. (NO OFFENSE)

Is Sabrina Carpenter hotter than blue hell? 

Yes. Obviously.

But I'm not into the whole make up on top of make up thing. And she kind of reminds me of that mannequin from that Goosebumps book "Night Of The Living Dummy".

TOPIC 4- SKYPE IS DEAD PROVING ONCE AGAIN MICROSOFT IS THE DUMBEST "SMART" COMPANY IN THE WORLD

Few things here because I need to go to bed. 

1- Skype stunk yes, but they were first to market, and in a really big way, and had a giant head start on zoom before we all got trapped in our houses by our moronic and tyrannical government during covid. They had the market cornered and allowed Zoom to pull their pants down and then lap them. Over and over and over again. 

2- The people brainwashed drinking the kool-aid will no doubt come for me on this, but Microsoft Teams STINKS. 

3- This wasn't a "Blockbuster allowing Netflix to put them out of business" type scenario. This was more like Sears completely falling asleep at the wheel, totally disregarding a new trend, and being ran out of the fucking arena by Amazon. Don't believe me? Look it up.
