Panthers Lose Game 1 To Toronto And Leaf "Fans" Don't Know How To Act
Let me start by saying I love Biz. When I went to Edmonton for the Stanley Cup, he treated me like we’d been best friends our entire lives. He always had my back, constantly checking in to make sure I was good. At one point, we were even sitting in the owner's suite together when he absolutely doused me with a gigantic bottle of champagne. It was a wild, unforgettable moment, and I genuinely appreciate how welcoming he was.
That said, I have to call it like I see it. I’ve always loved the post-game videos, but now that I’m on the receiving end of one, I’m starting to realize how ridiculous they can be. Biz is out here acting like he's part of the Toronto Maple Leafs organization like he’s skating on the fourth line (as usual). News flash, he never played for Toronto. Not once. But he’s on social media behaving like he's bled blue and white since birth. In reality, he’s just dick riding whichever Canadian team is hot at the moment.
Let’s be real, if the Leafs get bounced, and I believe they will, Biz will be the first one to hop back on Edmontons dick, just like he did last year. He doesn’t even try to hide it. One moment he’s Leafs Nation’s biggest fan, the next he’s screaming "Go Oilers" like he's been with them since day one. It’s sad.
And speaking of comical, let’s talk about his take on Sam Bennett and the Florida Panthers. Biz had no issue labeling the Panthers as “scumbags” after Bennett’s so called “vicious” elbow on Anthony Stolarz. Come on. Why would Bennett intentionally elbow a guy he won the Stanley Cup with less than a year ago? That doesn't even make sense. He was making a play on the puck, and now Leafs fans are acting like he threw a spinning elbow out of the UFC like some Jon Jones highlight reel shit. Pathetic.
Listen, I’ll tip my cap to Toronto. They played their hearts out last night. They were physical, aggressive, and they earned that win. But let me be crystal clear, if they let Florida steal Game 2 in Toronto, this series is going to be over in five. You saw how the Cats closed out Game 1, that was just a glimpse of what’s coming. It’s still Cats in five. Buckle up.
