HOLY SHIT AARON GORDON DID IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

First, it was the incredible putback game winner to beat the Clippers in one of the most insane moments you'll ever see. Tonight? How about another game winner on the road, this time to steal Game 1 and absolutely stun the Thunder. One of the more unreal finishes you're ever going to see in a playoff give, give the Nuggets credit. Playing on short rest after their Game 7 win, the Thunder were off for 8 days after their sweep and they came out and went blow for blow with the juggernaut that is the Thunder. Every time it seemed like the Thunder were making just enough plays to win, the Nuggets found a way to answer each and every time.

Nikola Jokic showed the entire world why he's the best player on the planet

The beauty of the playoffs is the unpredictability. OKC never loses a game like this. It's why they are who they are. Aaron Gordon coming up huge with the ultimate redemption after his OREB putback got blocked in the final 20 seconds, and that's why you play until 0.0s are on the clock.

The way the Nuggets fought back in this win, it's impossible to not be impressed. I'm sure everyone thought this was going to be a quick series and yet here they are, now owners of homecourt advantage.

Chet missed two HUGE FTs that would have sealed the win, given the Thunder could have just fouled and the Nuggets didn't have any timeouts to advance the ball. Instead, the Basketball Gods reminded everyone why FTs are important. In close playoff games, you have to execute!

This now means all three of OKC, CLE, and BOS dropped their Game 1. Just like everyone predicted right? Again, this is why the NBA playoffs are so incredible. Just when you think you have things figured out, chaos happens.
