The Easton Dub Is the New Youth Baseball Bat Sweeping the Nation and It Seems Like It May Actually Be One of the GOATs

TikTok seems to currently think I'm a 12-year-old travel baseball player, because my algorithm is filled almost exclusively with content about the ew Easton Dub — so much so that I may have developed a genuine fascination with it. There are hundreds of videos of kids getting this bat and you'd think it was the Holy Grail.

I am sure bat technology has progressed significantly in the last 15 years, but even so, I have a hard time believing there could be a bat that would compete with the big boys of my era. I was pitching to cats swinging Easton Stealths, Louisville Slugger EXOs and Demarini Voodoos. The Dub is going to have to show me something.

Then I saw a test and review from the Baseball Bat Bros. and now I have to reconsider everything.

Holy shit. I see why the 12-year-olds are losing their minds now. I remember the age where this YouTube video would have convinced me this bat was the difference between me playing in the big leagues and writing blogs.

Time will tell how The Dub fares on the field, but it seems like this could end up being on the list of the best baseball bats of a generation's youth — and that's something no American male ever forgets. I have a Notes app page for birthdays I'm supposed to remember, but nothing could remove from my mind the absolute weapon that was the Demarini CF4.
