Anthony Edwards Is Taking All His Well Deserved Victory Laps

"Ant Man, Batman, Superman ... Lakers in 5" What a quote. Even though, Antman didn't necessarily have the best performance last night with just 15 points on 5-19 shooting, his 26.8 ppg over the series including a magnificent 43 in Game 4 give him plenty of reasons to celebrate and dance on the Lakers grave, and dance he did. 

Every chance he got. 

I know I'm a big somethings are bigger than sports guy, and I loved Giannis's comments about being humble in victory. 

But if Ant Edwards wants to talk a little shit, especially after the way he's played, and to take down guys like Luka and Lebron, he can. I officially waive my some things card for today. Also, we need a couple of guys to keep the cockiness going in the NBA. We need guys to dance on a grave when they win, we need guys to talk shit, and we need superstars to have a presence about them. People idolize Jordan's era because of how physical the games were, and also that when they run back all those clips you have superstars in each others faces talking trash. 

The NBA is fueled on that. Keep it going. 

One Final note, Lebron should be thanking his lucky stars for that bubble title, because it's the only glimmer or light in a rather dark run towards the end of his career.

Just a brutal run. I'm sure they'll retool in the offseason and add pieces (usually guys past there prime) to make another run at a title, but man is it obvious to see they are behind a handful of teams in the West and the road will be tough sledding ahead. You have to wonder how many more years Lebron has left, and if those years will continue the drought. An absolutely brutal way to end the career.
