If you're one of those soulless creatures who have been asking "What do they see in each other?" just because some opposites attracted, pay attention. It seems they're not so opposite after all.
Belichick grew up in humble circumstances, the son of a college football assistant coach. Jordon grew up in humble circumstances, the daughter of a fisherman and the curator of a sex toy museum:
New York Post - Hudson was raised in Hancock, Maine, to parents who ran a fishing business that went bankrupt after their fishing grounds were closed in 2000.
Her mother eventually moved to Provincetown, on Cape Cod, where she manages a sex-toy shop and museum.
But Belichick had something much more important than money. He had the true wealth that comes from a stable home, loving parents, and a passion for following in his father's footsteps. Which led to unprecedented success and wealth beyond the wildest dreams of a Naval Academy defensive coordinator. And now we learn that when it comes to operating in the competitive, high-stakes professional league that is real estate, Jordon is the Belichick of the New England housing market:

Even more impressively, public records reveal Belichick's girlfriend has already paid off the mortgages on all of these homes.
Since she began dating the eight-time Super Bowl winner, Hudson has also registered 18 companies - several with names that suggest she has some control over his affairs. …
Records obtained by the Daily Mail show three of Hudson's properties were bought in a cluster within three days of each other in December 2023, when Belichick was still in charge of the New England Patriots, during his 24th and final season.
Suffolk County deed records show that Hudson bought two large townhouses in Dorchester, Massachusetts on December 1, 2023 - one worth $2.2m and the other $2.3m.
So take THAT, everyone who's been casting aspersions on this love story. Or suggesting Hudson was getting her money the old fashioned way:
How dare you suggest she's just in it for his money? It turns out she is wildly successful on her own. An impressive young woman with expert business acumen and a keen eye for the highly volatile housing market. While her boyfriend was spending the last few years running the Patriots, dabbling in media and taking over at North Carolina, she's been off making her own fortune.
I mean, how many 24-year-olds do you know with real estate portfolios like this? Worth 9 million bucks and entirely paid off? I'm proud to say this is a graduate of my alma mater, Bridgewater State University. She obviously was paying more attention in all those classes on Business Administration and Finance than I was. Because when I was her age I was living in my mother's house and working in food service. (Note that my sainted mom worked for the phone company and did not own a sex toy business.) So good on her.
And let's not overlook the influence her mom must have had on her. Like Steve Belichick's influence getting Bill interested in coaching, watching her mother establish a successful, thriving, sex toy business no doubt inspired Jordon to branch out on her own, use her wits and savvy, and become a housing mogul.
That's what they see in each other. A reflection of themselves. As Owen Wilson put in it Wedding Crashers, "True love is your soul's recognition of its counterpoint in another. I read it on a bumper sticker." So congratulations to Mrs. Hudson, to Jordon for all her success, and to Belichick.
