Tyrese Haliburton's Dad And Giannis Antetokounmpo Went At It After The Pacers Eliminated The Bucks
After the Pacers eliminated the Bucks from the playoffs, things got contentious between Giannis Antetokounmpo and Tyrese Haliburton ...'s dad? What the fuck? In a newly formed rivalry with plenty of bad blood, this was not the fight I was expecting to see in an elimination game. If you attention to the Pacers, you know Mr. Haliburton is vocal in support for his son and the team, so I'm not shocked, but didn't expect these two to get in each others faces like prize fighters at a weigh-in. Hard to tell if these two dudes are about to fight or fuck.
I know the NBA crowd wants to call Mr. Haliburton a frontrunner so badly for talking shit after a win he wasn't a part of, but you have to respect John Haliburton talking shit to a man that could literally turn him to dust with a single swing and can kiss him on the top of his head while remaining flat footed. Giannis has to be the heavy betting favorite in this fight, but Mr. Haliburton looks like he has seen some shit in his day, so I wouldn't put it past him to have scrapping experience - don't count him out so easily.
Yeah, it's extremely weird Haliburton's dad is trying to get into it with opposing players, definitely shouldn't be doing that. I also don't think Giannis is completely innocent in this whole thing. Dude loves to walk around saying how humble he is, and pretend like he's the good guy, but that doesn't mean can say or do whatever he wants. Mathurin and Giannis got into it in Game 3, and tonight Mathurin obviously didn't like having his head palmed and whatever weird humble life lesson bullshit Giannis decided to whisper into Benn's ear that got him going.
During the post game press conferences both Tyrese and Giannis cleared the air and apparently the beef has been squashed, but for a second there it looked like a brawl was about to break out. If these two want to unbury the hatchet and throw hands, I know for a fact there is a Rough N Rowdy card ready for them to duke it out in the ring. I'll take Mr. Haliburton +100,000.
