The Yankees Did That Thing Again Where They Started a Game With Back To Back To Back Homers
That was utterly ridiculous. The fact that this is the second time this season the Yankees have started a game with back to back to back homers and four in the first inning is beyond comprehension. Nestor Cortes Jr. was the first victim and now poor Kyle Gibson. Fun fact, both games happened on the 29th of the month. That is unbelievable. Even Cody Bellinger hit one out and I don't think he's even doing that in batting practice these days.
As I'm typing this Ben Rice just hit his second in the following inning. Same guy Klemmer believes is not a major league hitter.
Really makes you wonder why they don't run the home run play more often. I vote to have Kyle Gibson pitch in every game moving forward.
P.S. Aaron Judge is hitting .407 with a .726 SLG and we're about to be in May
