Kings Stay Kings: Joe Lunardi Tweeted Out His 2026 Bracketology Today, Fan Bases Are Losing Their Shit About Where He Has Them Seeded

There are some things that you can close your eyes and picture. Brackets? That's Joe Lunardi. He's not the best bracketologist, but he made that a thing. He made people want to look at brackets and get preemptively mad over fake seeds. It used to be that he appeared around February. It was a delight seeing Joe Lunardi because you knew March was coming. You waited all year for that first bracketology just to get an idea of the groupthink of where your team will be.

But now?

Now, Lunardi is everywhere. He's putting out a bracketology right now, April 29, with guys still in the transfer portal. People still have no idea what their roster will look like next year. That won't stop Lunardi. More importantly it won't stop fan bases from losing their shit over it:

You get the point. Lunardi now finds himself in a war in April with some of the most insane fanbases. The Big East? The last group of college hoops fans you want to find yourself in a Twitter war with. You got Texas Tech (insane, in the best way), the MWC and the Big 10. He basically pissed everyone off besides the SEC, for the most part.
All I know is this is why Lunardi is the king. It makes absolutely zero sense to do a bracketology right now. That won't stop him. I mean, I looked. Had to see what Lunardi is going to tell the committee to do, which is my favorite conspiracy theory in college basketball. Fans are so insane that they truly believe a Lunardi will impact the committee. No, the committee just tends to be dumb. That's really it. Still the best to do it.
