President Trump Weighed In On Shedeur Sanders Going Undrafted In The First Round Of The Draft, Asked NFL Owners If They're "STUPID", And Remarked On His "PHENOMENAL GENES""

Is this real life?

Actually, I guess POTUS taking the time to weigh in on teams being afraid, and/or avoiding taking Sanders in the first round is very on brand for 2025. Maybe I'm the crazy one.

We went from having a President who went above and beyond to avoid interaction with the press whatsoever. Avoided public appearances for the most part. And raised questions on if he was even alive nevermind cognitively fit for the job.

In about 5 months time we've gone from that, to a Commander in Chief who literally can't help himself from commenting on everything under the sun. (Point in case here, with the NFL Draft). His favorite noise in the world is the sound of his own voice. He's got twitter (truth social) fingers like he works for Barstool.

It's unreal how far the pendulum has swung from one polar opposite to the other.

To be honest, I'm not sure I prefer either way.

Is it cool that the President of The United States of America has an opinion on things, and enjoys being vocal about it?

Sure.

I mean, even with the world inching closer and closer to nuclear chaos on multiple fronts, it's good once in a while to be distracted with sports and entertainment. That's precisely the reason this website is around.

But do we need the president throwing around derogatory terms like were on the third grade playground? (IN CALL CAPS)

I mean, I think the person seated in the highest office in the land should conduct themselves a little more professionally, or as his critics love to say, presidentially. But what the fuck do I know?

Is it too much to ask to get somebody who doesn't hide behind a (lying) press secretary, and never speaks to the public? But who also doesn't berate and demean everybody they address? Somebody who speaks intelligently and eloquently, and doesn't have access to a social media account? Wouldn't that be nice?

p.s. - Cleveland has gotta snag Sanders tonight right? I mean they've done so, so, sooooo much worse. He's really not that bad, and I don't think the risk outweighs the reward. In fact, now that we're in the 2nd round I think its quite the opposite. When you factor in his pedigree, how involved Deion is in his life (both good points Trump made), I think you're getting more than just a mobile QB with high velocity, and great agility. Get this kid a decent vet to play behind and learn from, have him work on his accuracy, and in a couple seasons you might have something.
