The Real Ones Know The Best Nights To Go Out Are Mid Week

Boys, I think I’m onto something here.

Let’s talk nightlife strategy for a second. Everyone knows Friday and Saturday are the go to nights to go out but that’s exactly the problem. Those nights are for the casuals. Everyone and their mother is hitting the bars, the clubs, the rooftops it's all packed, loud, and chaotic. The market, if you will, is oversaturated.

Now hear me out: Wednesday and Thursday? That’s where the real game is played. Those nights are for the pros. The people who go out midweek aren’t doing it just because it’s the weekend they’re out for a reason. Maybe they’re going through something, maybe they’re looking for something, or maybe they just want a good deal on drinks. But the point is, they chose to be there.

That kind of intention makes a difference.

The bars are less crowded, and honestly, if you’re chasing tail that’s exactly what you want. You’re not shoulder to shoulder with a dozen other guys all trying to get the bartender’s attention. You’re not stuck in a sea of sweaty people or worse that one group of girls who spend the entire night cock blocking the one pretty one from getting hit on. It’s just you and a handful of people who all decided they wanted to get after it in the middle of the week.

Now, I’m not saying there are more girls out on a Wednesday than a Saturday. There aren’t. But the ones who are out? They’re more approachable, instead of being the 12th guy to compliment her eyes like you would be on a Saturday, you’d be the first or second to say it on a Wednesday. The vibe is just different.

Honestly, I might go out on a limb and say that aside from how much easier it is to close midweek, it might actually be a better overall going out experience. Less stress, cheaper drinks, and better opportunities. Wednesday and Thursday might be my new Friday and Saturday.

Sure, I’ll be a little groggy at work the next morning, but that’s what Advil and hydration are for. You make it work.

Anyway, that’s just my two cents. Try it for yourself and thank me later.
