I 100% May Be Old, But I Think We Should Be Able To Group Our Cell Phone Contacts To Not Only Make It Easier To Find People But To Create Group Texts

Full disclosure I had to ask the social guys and gal in the chop circle about this before I started penning this. I also admit that I am terrible learning shit about my phone. I just had Pete show me once again how to retrieve my code for the backend, but I had this hit me randomly and I stand by it. We should be able to group our contacts on the Iphone. Stay with me. 

Ok, I understand there are groups within the cell phone but for me they are only grouped via Email address.That's useless. I am looking to create legit Groups of Contacts. Think "High School", "College", "Work", "House Repairs" etc. Again, I know I'm old but think about when you have something go wrong in the house and you forget that the guy you saved in your phone as Mikey Jones or Steve Phillips is the plumber that you need. Wouldn't it be easier to open up a group and be able to then go "oh that's him." Think about the same when you are creating an event for college friends and don't want to exclude anyone, or people on your block, or coworkers etc. If you were able to open up that contact group and then hit a button that says "Create Group Text" out lives would all be easier. 

Again, I know this is 100% an old man take, but when you think of all that an Iphone can do why can't it do this? I know this is a very niche type thing but I really do think this would make all our lives easier. And I know Iphones have this capacity to do this, so why not do it? Again, this may be literally something that only I want but I feel like if people had the option they would take advantage of it, and I really do think it's beneficial.
