A New Era: Rory Finally Got His Green Jacket And Is Now Making Jokes During Press Conferences About Missing Short Putts In The Clutch

I don't know if I like this version of Rory. I said it before, I don't really care either way for him. I'm not going to argue anyone who wants to talk shit about him. But, Rory can't start making jokes about missing short putts now that he has the green jacket. He never would have done this before. You have to keep the same attitude. Plus, he missed the putt on 18 at Augusta. That happened, before he threw another dart in the playoff and made that putt. That said, if you win, you can talk shit. I've said that about anyone and any event, so go ahead Rory.

But the real star here is Shane Lowry. Getting ready to play the Zurich as a team and we have this:

Guy is just the best friend in the world. He won a major, he has a mural of his face

And he sits there cracking self-deprecating jokes. I will say I actually like the Zurich. It's a good break from the traditional four round, stroke play tournaments we see. It's why I miss the match play event. We need these breaks during the golf season. I'd rather have this than one of those tournaments where the top-30 players aren't in it. You got the champs coming back, who won in a playoff last year

I just don't know how to feel with Rory cracking jokes about putts these days. He would have been quiet before the win at the Masters.
