'Once I Go To New York, I'm All New York' - Abdul Carter Is Basically Admitting He's Going To Be A Giant, Team Needs To Make The Easy Decision Now
This is a man basically admitting he's going to be a Giant. It makes sense, everyone in the world has him now going to the Giants. I am one of those people who want him to be a Giant. Now, we just need a franchise who has done nothing but fuck up recently to make the easy decision. That decision is Abdul Carter at number 3.
When the Giants were winning games, it had one of the best defensive lines in the league. That could be the case with Abdul Carter. You give the Giants Carter, Lawrence, Burns and even Thibodeaux and you have something to work with. I'm not saying it's the old NASCAR package, but it's the closest we've had to it. Don't overthink it, don't reach for someone, just take the guy who is awesome on defense here.
No one should give a shit that he's a Philly fan. I know it's shocking to find out that someone grew up somewhere, but you draft him. Anyone complaining about that or saying it's a negative should never be allowed to talk again. He's from Philly, of course he is a Philly fan, but listen to him talk. ONCE he gets to New York, he's all New York. That's the only thing that matters here. Plus he said 'once' he gets to New York. Practically begging to go third overall.
It's easy now. Cam Ward goes 1, Travis Hunter goes 2. Once that happens you lock everyone out of the war room who doesn't want Abdul Carter and make the call without them knowing like Kevin Costner in Draft Day. You bring in Abdul Carter. Figure the rest out later.
