Watch This When You're High - "The Last Pope" Conspiracy Theory And The Apocalypse

I mentioned this today on The Yak when Big Cat asked me if I thought JD Vance killed Pope Francis. (Spoiler Alert: I do not).

However, a rather wild conspiracy theory has been circulating since the Pope's passing yesterday, suggesting that this event aligns with the End of Times. AKA The Apocalypse.

WND- ″The Last Pope?″ is a documentary from WND that brings viewers to Rome, Geneva, Belfast and the U.S. to discover the story of venerated Irish prophet St. Malachy. Lost away inside the Vatican archives for 400 years, Malachy′s Prophecy of the Popes emerged in the late 1500s at a time of great papal upheaval. Heralded at the time as a miraculous development, the origin & early years of the prophecy are cloaked in murky mysticism! According to the Prophecy of the Popes, a time of vast biblical significance is now at hand. ″The Last Pope?″ includes medieval historians, Vatican-affiliated experts, authors (including Tom Horn and Chris Putman, co-authors of ″Petrus Romanus: The Last Pope Is Here″) among others. From Ireland to Italy, ″The Last Pope?″ tells a riveting story of eschatological intrigue...

Now, before you race to the comments to zing me and point out how crazy I am, just know that I don’t buy this. I’m just blogging it because I’d never heard of this until yesterday, and it’s pretty wild.

Like straight from a Dan Brown novel wild.

The Last Pope conspiracy theory is all about this 12th-century prophecy allegedly written by Saint Malachy, an Irish archbishop, that predicts all the popes from his time up until the end of the world.

Malachy supposedly laid out a list of 112 cryptic descriptions of future popes. The really creepy part, is that the last one, referred to as “Peter the Roman,” is the pope who will usher in the apocalypse.

And wouldn’t you know it, the Arch Bishop who oddsmakers, and that coward KFC, are betting on happens to be…

Pope Francis just passed away on April 21st. And, of course, the death of a pope on the anniversary of Rome’s founding? You can practically hear the conspiracy alarm bells ringing. April 21st, 753 BC, happens to be is Rome’s birthday.

And for those who really want to get deep in the conspiracy weeds, this just so happens to be the celebration day of “Parilia“ an ancient Roman festival tied to purification and renewal. It’s the kind of date you mark on your calendar if you think the universe is saying to pay fucking attention.

So there’s that.

Pope Francis dies on a big Roman celebration day, tied to a festival about renewal.

If you believe in the apocalypse, Rome’s not just any city- it’s “the beast system.”

The Beast, as in the oppressive, power-hungry, global dictatorship that, according to the Book of Revelation, signals the end of times.

You could argue Rome’s got that reputation, (more so back in the day of the Empire and indulgences vs. now), both as the city of the ancient empire and as the home of the Catholic Church, which some view as the modern-day embodiment of the beast.

So, when Francis- pope number 112 (that’s right, the last one), dies on Rome’s birthday, on a day linked to renewal and purification?

You can see where this is going.

And here’s where it gets truly wild- The Last Pope prophecy says that when “Peter the Roman” comes along, he’ll be the one to watch as he oversees the destruction of the Church, possibly followed by some fire and brimstone- real end-of-the-world, Zul from Ghostbusters type stuff.

Your standard apocalyptic checklist: earth-shattering chaos, the final judgment, maybe a meteor or two. You get it.

There are people who believe Pope Francis’ passing marks the beginning of this final phase.

They’ve got all the strings pulled together: his death, the date, the “beast system” references, and the prophecy’s prediction.

Oh yah, also that demonic fuck Klaus Schwab suddenly resigned out of nowhere yesterday- but that’s a whole different blog for another day and I don’t know enough about how that ties in to go down that rabbit hole.

You could say this is almost as if the world’s gearing up for a spiritual reckoning.

Pope Francis was supposed to be the penultimate pope. (Allegedly)

So… does this mean we’re about to get “Peter the Roman”?

Is the apocalypse knocking at the door?

I’m not saying we should be packing but out bags and building bunkers just yet.

But if you’re into conspiracies, history, and the drama of religious prophecy, this is the kind of thing you’ll love.

Maybe even crack open a Bible (if you’re feeling bold) and start looking for signs.

Keep the suggestions coming. Keep it classy. No butt stuff.
