The Drama The Pacers Vs Bucks Series Needed: Damian Lillard WILL PLAY Tonight In Game 2
Set your Dame Time alarm for 7:00pm - Damian Lillard officially back for Game 2 of Bucks vs Pacers. When Milwaukee announced before the series that Dame had a record breaking recovery for a blood clot, it seemed like jedi mind tricks to make the Pacers practice for a potential return of Giannis' right hand man. Turns out, Dame is a super human freak of nature, OR Dame hates Tyrese Haliburton's existence so much, Dame is letting the hate fuel his comeback. Dame has gone in on players that have talked shit to him before, ask Paul George how that went. Granted that was pre-covid. Also, not sure a guy who has taken a month off from basketball can come back and be a super star, but after watching the Bucks' role players in Game 1 - anything helps. Just last year in this version of the Pacers' first ever playoff game (on the road) a bum calfed Lillard took Indiana behind the wood shed without Giannis.
Respect to Dame for stepping up and playing. I'm not a doctor, but a blood clot is serious stuff. People love to shit on today's NBA for being soft, but risking your life for a championship is crazy. After talking shit from the bench in the ugliest sweater I've ever seen, I guess Dame felt like he had to back up the talk. Just because you spent a stack on a shirt, doesn't mean it looks good. But, I can't. Our #0 shows up wearing a moomoo and rain boots to the arena in the name of fashion. Maybe these guys hate each other because they are the same person? Who can go 3/17 from the field and their team still get the win? Grab your popcorn, we find out tonight.
I'm still taking the Pacers in 6. The Bucks won't shoot as poorly as they did in Game 1 (not sure how you could get worse), but the Pacers also didn't play that great despite winning by 19. Haliburton usually gets a slow start in Game 1, then figures it out as the series progresses. I predict the Pacers defend home court tonight in a close game, and we get the fireworks this series needed as both #0's are going at each other's throats.
