One Hell Of A Run - The Legend Lee Corso Is Officially Retiring From GameDay, Doing One Last Show On August 30

There's no doubt that we all knew this day was coming. But, it's still one of those that sucks. Lee Corso is one of those guys that has been on TV for my entire life. You wake up Saturday morning, toss on GameDay and there was Lee Corso. Quick break for one of the best moments on the show:

I hope he breaks this out for his last show. That's right we're getting one last ride for Lee Corso

He can say whatever he wants, that's just Lee Corso being Lee Corso. We'd all laugh, no one would be mad. Give us one last fuck it after a 'not so fast, my friend'. It's the only fitting way for Corso to go out on GameDay. Another quick break:

GameDay was one of the important parts of a Saturday routine, especially back in the day. You'd wake up in your apartment, throw it on and figure out the day with those guys talking about the slate. It was comfort television in a way and Corso was a main part of that. It didn't matter if he was calling Uga ugly or dancing around, Corso was a major part of my television watching.

38 years is a ridiculous run. Guy was always one of the most electric people on television. He helped form college football TV watching into what it is today. His last show should be the entire crowd just chanting his name for hours on end. Shout out Lee Corso, best to do it.
