'Duke This, Duke That. Don't Sleep On Houston' - Kelvin Sampson Danced His Ass Off After Stuffing Jon Scheyer And Duke In A Locker

Goddamn that's perfect from Kelvin Sampson, because that's exactly what happened this season. At least for those who refuse to watch Houston because they think all they do is foul and turn the ball over. This Houston team should be talked about as an all-time great team if they win on Monday. They have ONE loss in regulation all year. That loss was to Auburn on November 9. So yeah Duke this, Duke that. You had people crowning their ass before they even stepped foot in San Antonio.

Then it happened. The beautiful collapse.

It was a Kelvin Sampson masterclass. Do enough to hang around, take advantage when the other team starts messing up. That's exactly what happened. Duke should have been up 20 at some point, they never were. They stopped running offense, similar to what we saw against Arizona. They didn't have a rebound the last like 3 minutes of the game.

So, yeah, Kelvin Sampson can talk any shit he wants. He stuffed Jon Scheyer in a locker and then he danced his ass off

The man has took over a Houston program that was dead, buried, however you want to describe it. Now he has them a win away from a title, a win away from an all-time great team conversation and is shaking that ass in the locker room. Hell, the last play with the game on the line was a perfect example of a great coach vs not:

Same set, same design that Scheyer has done all year with Flagg when he needs a bucket like this. Houston instead fakes the double, makes Flagg hesitate for just a second, short. That's Sampson vs Scheyer at its finest. He earned the right to say whatever he wants, but this is just factually correct. People refused to talk about Houston the way they should have.
