The "Double Heads" Disaster 7 Hours Into Barstool After Dark Last Night Felt Like Rock Bottom

Last night on Barstool After Dark, a team of myself, Katic, Big T (and then joined by Spider, Mintzy, Cheah, Bosco, and White Boy Rick) took on the 50/50 Challenge in which we tried to beat Big Cat's record of 16 straight winning bets. To do so, we had to put together a streak of correctly predicting the outcome in the follow 17 events:

1. Flip a Coin - Heads or Tails

2. Flip a Card - Red or Black

3. Roll a Dice - Odd or Even

4. Pick a Gender of the next Random Celebrity - Male or Female

5. Beat the Chat in Rock, Paper, Scissors

6. Pick the winner of a Two Horse Race

7. Throw a Dart - Even or Odd

8. FaceTime Cheah - Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down on a movie

9. Pick an NFL Team that the chat comes up with (16 guesses)

10. Win a hand of Blackjack

11. Mintzy make a Free Throw

12. Ghost or Ginger Ale

13. Call a store - Guy or Girl answers

14. Hit on the Golf Sim - Even or Odd distance

15. Gender Reveal - Blue or Pink

16. Russian Roulette with Nerf Gun

17. Big Cat call Heads or Tails

The odds of us completing this were 1 in 131,000. We did gain a mulligan every hour we were live, but Lucas (could be wrong since he's dumb) told us that means even if we had 17 mulligans, it would be a .0015% chance of success. Well, just 7 hours into the stream, we made it all the way to step 17 where Big Cat had to call Heads or Tails for us to go home. AND WE HAD A MULLIGAN TO SPARE! He called Tails, twice.

And it was Heads...

And then it was Heads….

A true Ball Don't Lie moment if you were watching in real time, but a true Rock Bottom bottom if all of our lives. We went from having like a one in a billion chance of completing this to two cracks at a coin flip, and we lost. Devastating.

Thank fucking God we got back there just over an hour later, and this time it hit.
