'I'm Not The Problem' - Inter Miami Has Apparently Banned Messi's Famous Bodyguard From The Sidelines, He Refuses To Stop Doing His Job

[Source] - "I was in Europe for seven years, working for Ligue 1 and the Champions League, and only six people invaded the pitch. "I came to the USA and in just 20 months, 16 people have already done so. There's a huge problem here. I'm not the problem. Let me help Messi."

An Inter Miami team spokesperson told ESPN it was a club decision, not MLS', to not have Cheuko on the sidelines. However, he remains an employee of the club and part of the security detail.

What the hell, Inter Miami? Don't get me wrong, I've done minimal research in terms of deep digging into why the massive bodyguard is banned from matches, but this seems like a bad decision. He cleared the first page of Google and any of the first like 100 tweets in terms of 'bad things' that could have been done. That's basically all good in anyone's book for now. Look at the quote! He has 16 people in the USA already storming the field to see Messi. You don't want this around?

We need a full deep dive into this. I don't care what you think of soccer or the MLS, it's Messi. I think people sometimes forget that Messi is just hanging out in America, destroying Kansas City on a Tuesday night for the fun (money) of the game. You can't have 16 people rushing the field. I think we need more Messi bodyguards on the touchline instead of less. That or let Cheuko sneak attack people who dare to run on the field. I think that's the answer. Let him hide in the stands and the moment he sees someone planning to get on the field, bam, headlock.

All I know is Messi needs to be on high alert now. He's gotta have his head on a swivel since his guy isn't on the field anymore. Something to keep an eye on if he starts to struggle. I wouldn't take any chances if Messi is on my squad.
