John Fanta Ranks The Four Head Coaches Who Are Leading Their Teams To The Final Four In San Antonio

On today's Pardon My Take... JOHN FANTA! The FOX and NBC College Basketball Reporter and Broadcaster joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter on today's show to talk Final Four, Kevin Willard to Villanova, The Crown, who he wants on the Browns, and how he and the crew make sure they don't get chipped to death in San Antonio.

You all know one of the biggest storylines heading into this weekend's games: for just the second time ever, all four number one seeds have reached the biggest stage in college basketball. Auburn, Florida, Duke, and Houston have all had magnificent seasons, and there is no doubt that the four best teams in the sport are the ones who are heading to Texas this week.

But how about the coaches who are leading them there? Each guy and his staff have done a tremendous job this season, and PFT asked John Fanta on today's show how he would rank the four coaches still playing in this year's tournament. Here is what Fanta had to say about that...

Final Four Coach Rankings According To John Fanta

1. Bruce Pearl

2. Kelvin Sampson

3. Jon Scheyer

4. Todd Golden

I think it is hard to disagree with this list. Pearl and Sampson are clearly the top two as of right now, simply because of their tenure and proof that they can consistently put good teams out there. Jon Scheyer and Todd Golden are each in the very early stages of their coaching careers, so there is plenty of room to add to their resumes, and that starts this weekend.

Saturday night in San Antonio. The Road Ends Here. Let's freaking goooooooo!
