The Best Severance Theories Heading Into Tonight's Episode
It’s a new episode of KFC Radio today featuring Captain Cons! He joined up with the gang today to talk about his new podcast, Bold American Pod. A lot was touched on, including some of the great TV we’ve got going on right now like Severance.
For me it’s the best show on TV currently and if they keep going the way they are, then I think it could get into “one of the best shows ever” territory. With a new episode dropping tonight at 9 (Why Apple doesn’t advertise that they drop it the night before I’ll never know), I figured now would be a good time to go through some of my favorite theories I’ve come across on the Severance subreddit.

Mark’s reintegration glitch at Lumon was huge
We haven’t been back at Lumon since Mark had his reintegration glitch in front of Miss Huang…but something definitely has to come out of that. My bet is that Mark was in a trance or whatever happens when he glitches for an extended period of time and his sus meter reached astronomical levels. It’s not exactly a secret that Lumon knows about reintegration since Graner was following Petey/Reghabi in season 1…so I think it’s safe to assume that everyone working with the severed employees is briefed on what the signs are. Miss Huang is also a rat so do we really expect her to not tell someone that Mark was acting weird?
Maybe the sneaky funniest moment on the show so far was Miss Huang submitting her complaints about Milchick anonymously when she’s the only person he manages who has the power to submit a complaint.
Helena/Helly is pregnant
I mean there’s no chance Mark didn’t impregnate her, right? I don’t think they’re stopping the refining to put the innies through a quick sex education course, so between innie Mark and Helly knowing nothing about it and outie Helena having some weird obsessive fetish with Mark where she 100% wants to have a baby Scout…I don’t see a world where it doesn’t happen.

Apple also put a tweet out just of Helly taking off her heels as a teaser prior to last week’s episode. I’m no pregnancy expert…but I know your feet swell up when you’re pregnant.
Burt is a Lumon informant/Irving will be killed
Is this even considered a theory or just a fact? Burt creepily following Irving then Drummond breaking into Irving's condo while he was over Burt's pretty much confirms it as a fact. His husband was also VERY confident that outie Burt wouldn’t be entering the pearly gates. Now…the church is pretty forgiving for most everything aside from a couple sins, murder being one of them. I wouldn’t say it’s a stretch that he’s a hired gun for Lumon (next target being Irving) and maybe hasn’t even ever been severed. Why would Lumon tell him the real reason for being fired when they lie to everyone else? And would they really cast Christopher Walken and not have him play a villain? Come on.
Prayers up to outie Dylan too. Your wife cheating on you with you is tough.
