Adam Sandler's '50 Years' Song During SNL50 Was Perfect, Especially The Moment He Brought Up Chris Farley And Norm MacDonald
This right here might sum up Adam Sandler more than anything else. A dude who can take a song and go from inside jokes for the crew, laughs for anyone watching, a tear or two when talking about Chris Farley and Norm MacDonald. Dude just likes to play basketball, wear polo shirts and hook his friends up with jobs in movies. You could make a case that he's a 1.1 dude.
My only complaint here is this should have ended the SNL50 show. It was one of the few misses the show had last night. Thought the middle was absolutely loaded, Eddie Murphy stole the show but this Adam Sandler song would have been the perfect ending for it all. SNL50 was always going to have some misses, don't think anyone should have been surprised there, it just would have been the ideal ending to have Adam Sandler, a cast member, singing about the entire show.
It was crazy seeing all the big names throughout the years last night though. Sandler's song obviously highlighted all of that, it was prefect. I can't get over this picture too with Sandler mentioning Norm and Farley

People can argue who on the cast was the best, what cast was the best, but it's all basically who you grew up with. However, there may not be a group with a bigger approval rating than Sandler, Norm and Farley.
I'm 38 years old. I'd assume almost every person my age knows about the Sandler/Farley relationship. But just think about how many jokes have been said between your friend group directly stolen from those two. Tommy Boy, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Black Sheep, all just said sitting around a lunch table. So shout out Adam Sandler, the song was perfect.
