The Only Highlight From The NBA All-Star Game Is Charles Barkley Telling Draymond Green That Green's Generation 'Messed The Game Up'

Look, Draymond isn't wrong. This whole thing is stupid. The All-Star Game is simple, at least it should be. The best players on the planet for the first half of the season playing a game of basketball. That's all we're asking for here. We had it before. But this is what he forgets. This whole thing went to shit the last few years. Charles Barkley won't let him forget though

I don't even care about the format. It could work. But why are we having Rising Stars playing in an All-Star Game? It's the NBA All-Star Game. Just have the NBA All-Stars play in it. Again, this is the whole generation Draymond is used to and from ruining it. All we want is some form of competitiveness. The first half can be go out, get your dunks in, put on the show and then the 4th quarter needs to be busting your ass. Instead we have LeBron showing up and saying he's not playing an hour before the event. We have Anthony Edwards sitting out with either an injury or a cold. We have some horrendous breaks and 'contests' between games. Just play baskeball.

Again, Draymond was right with what he said. But at some point you gotta understand why it's so bad we have the Rising Stars playing in this. There was a time when the All-Star Game was nearly must watch for most basketball fans. There was a time where there were highlights all over the place, good games, memorable moments. It's dead. Once again, all we're asking for is some competitive, normal basketball. Shouldn't be that tough.
