Motivation 101: Fred Hoiberg Punched The Shit Out Of A Whiteboard At Halftime, Got Bandaged Up And Led Nebraska To A 20-Point Comeback
People like to guess how college coaches motivate guys when you're down big and need to win to stay alive for the NCAA Tournament. Allow Fred Hoiberg to show you how to lead from the front. He punched the shit out of a whiteboard at halftime, got bandaged up and led Nebraska to its biggest comeback win in their Big 10 history. That's how you do it. None of this fake motivation, none of this keep running our stuff and it'll work out, no, you get in there and beat the shit out of a whiteboard.
Play through a little pain baby! It's late February. You're on the bubble, you can't afford a loss to Northwestern. If coach can play through the pain everyone else better be doing the same.
In all seriousness, Hoiberg having Nebraska in the NCAA Tournament conversation again is ridiculous. Nebraska never makes the NCAA Tournament. They are the furthest thing from a basketball program and it took Hoiberg some time to build the program up. But we're looking at potentially seeing Nebraska going back-to-back Tournaments despite losing Tominaga.
It's good to know Hoiberg found his go-to move. Can't be embarrassing himself like this anymore
Breaking whiteboards, making Nebraska history. Fred Hoiberg has to punch something any time Nebraska is down now.
