Yes, Jamie! #MyCEO. Get those employee's back in the office, babe. I kid you not...I love this. Who cares if they can get their job done in half the time from home? That's every job. The point is that there is an entire generation of workers who don't really know how good they have it. (Looking at you Gen-Z). These are the kids who are fresh out of college who feel that they are entitled to everything work from home because that's all they've ever known. They started working during COVID so they think it's normal to be remote. Well, unfortunately for them, it's not. You can only fake work for so long until your company catches on. Oh, and everything he said is true. He's just finally allowed to call it out because he's no longer afraid of being demonized in the media. The culture has shifted. The pendulum has swung. 

Now, having said that, there is a major disconnect between Jamie and his employees. The thing that Jamie doesn't understand is that the younger generation of workers are simply not as committed to their job as he is...and that's fine. That's why he's the CEO and they are not, but you can't ignore the fact that this call was awesome. Refreshing even. I love a tyrant of a CEO as long as I'm not on the receiving end of their wrath. Thoughts and prayers to the employees of JPMorgan as they navigate this next chapter.
