Things Are Going Great: John Calipari Doesn't Want Anyone To Say Arkansas Is Going To Be Alright, Calls Out Some Of His Players For Being 'Fragile'
I know, I know, Arkansas beat Kentucky. Difference is Kentucky is a top-4 seed in the NCAA Tournament, a lock for it and Arkansas is on the wrong side of the bubble. I'll take that any day of the week. We also don't have a head coach saying things aren't going to be okay and that his players are soft. You can't take a page out of the Rick Pitino book this late in the year though, Cal. This is what we tried warning Arkansas fans about. The losses add up and even if Arkansas looks better in February, it ends up being too late.
But calling your players fragile? Hilarious. They can't handle the pressure of being a bubble team? Sad to hear. It's a BRUTAL thing to be called and now Cal should have to say them name by name. Can't just say you have some fragile dudes out there who can't handle hearing they'll likely miss the Tournament. Just don't you dare say they'll be okay. They can't handle hearing it will be alright after losing at Texas A&M. Good news is they get Auburn next, on the road.
And, yeah, I know Kentucky lost last night - without 3 point guards. Difference is we're fine. We're the number 10 team on the bracket according to the committee. We're not fighting for our lives just to have a March or postseason. Sure do hate to see this though. Can't believe year 1 isn't going according to plan and chicken man money.
