49ers QB/Rocket Scientist Josh Dobbs Flew His Own Plane to a Tennessee Basketball Game

Get a load of this guy. He's a pilot, too?! Obviously, Josh Dobbs has made a nice career for himself in the NFL and if you watched any Tennessee football game from 2014-16, you have undoubtedly heard he has an aerospace engineering degree, but I didn't know he was just hopping in his plane and flying across the country. What can't this man do?

Dobbs strikes me as having just a little bit of Nikola Jokic in him. I don't think he resents being a football player as much as Jokic seems to hate being the best basketball player in the world, but he clearly just wants to sim to the offseason so he can fly planes and go help build rockets at SpaceX for a couple months.

Making eight figures in the NFL with aerospace engineering to fall back on sounds like a pretty nice life. Good for Josh.
