The New York Jets Posted A Thank You To Aaron Rodgers And It Only Solidifies That We Need A Common Sense Department For All Sports Franchises

Oh boy. Oh boy. Oh boy. Just when you think it's going to be a slow day and The New York Jets can't do anything stupid, they pull one out of their ass to look like morons. Just a truly amazing post. Really amazing. Let's just review, The New York Jets brought in Aaron Rodgers to be their savior in an AFC conference loaded with good quarterbacks. Rodgers is old but still had some gas in the tank, or so they thought. He gets injured last year in the first game, and returns this past season and The Jets are a disaster of a franchise finishing 5-12 and Rodgers posts mediocre stats including the third most interceptions in a season in his career. Then as the Jets hire a new coach, they decide enough is enough and cut ties with Rodgers. Reminder, they paid him an average of 37.5 million dollars a year to do this. 2 years of basically nothing significant. Jets fans get to say they had Aaron Rodgers but they really didn't. It's like saying you went out with the Prom Queen, but she only agreed because your parents are friends and she spent the entire night on your phone, and asked you to drop her off at a friend's house after the date but it was really another boy's house. An utter disappointment.

The only true highlight for the Jets and Rodgers was something that basically turned into a joke. Him running out of the tunnel with a flag.

The comment section reacted as you can expect them to, to this INSANELY OUT OF TOUCH post.

Which brings me to the point of this whole thing, we need to have a common sense department for each sports franchise. This just cannot be posted. Whoever the social media person is that did this should have to run it by the common sense department where they kindly get told "No you fucking moron we cannot post that because the internet will eat us alive … like they should." I would say it's beyond dumb that this social media person even thought to post this in the first place but it is the Jets and that would imply they have any brain cells in their heads (especially after they let a very good, borderline excellent Inside Sales Rep go in 2013). Just the dumbest of the dumb. What on earth made them think they could post this and not be dragged? Get teams a common sense department and do it fast. It's for their own good, I'm telling you.
