The Most Hated Man In Dallas: SMU Student Section Started A 'Fire Nico' Chant Right In Nico Harrison's Face

I don't know if we've ever seen a fanbase react to a trade like this. Sure, we've seen people get mad and some booing. But you'd think Nico Harrison committed a crime in Dallas. He may have. I guess if you trade a top player in the league who isn't even in his prime yet and just took you to the NBA Finals, you deserve every ounce of hate from fans. But look at this run we're on: 

But now we're not at Nico's place. He can't have security kick people out for saying Fire Nico. You walked into a thunderdome. A college basketball game where 1) SMU is on the bubble and 2) you can't hide. Crazy idea to go to SMU thinking they wouldn't destroy you too. I know people want to claim front office people are disconnected from reality, but you gotta have a sense that everyone hates your guts. There were even little kids chanting it. 

You got Anthony Davis out hurt and Mavs fans revolting even more. We're pretty close to where Nico Harrison and anyone else associated with the Mavs aren't going to be able to walk out in Dallas without a chant in their face. This is how you support the team. You don't get to hide at the house Bryson and Larry Brown built.
