My Pick For First Lady Of The NFL Is None Other Than...
The Super Bowl should be a matchup of the two best teams in the NFL. But after watching the Bills lose to the Chiefs in a one-sided game, I'm not sure…
Of course, I'm referring to the one-sided officiating. I believe the Bills should be representing the AFC in this year's Super Bowl, and the Chiefs should be home watching it on TV.
And if you're only going by fiancés, girlfriends, and wives, NFL MVP Josh Allen's fiancé, Hailee Steinfeld, should be the first lady of the NFL, not Taylor Swift or Brittany Mahomes…
Back in the day, before replays and challenges, very few calls were argued beyond the actual play. Players and fans accepted the official's calls despite not agreeing. With replay and challenges, that has all changed.
Players and fans expect the officiating crew to get it right, especially under review. But as we've seen, that doesn't always happen.
What, then, is the difference between now and the days of yesteryear in the NFL? The simple answer is legalized gambling, which, more than any on-field rule changes, has changed the game and turned it into what some believe are scripted outcomes.
When what you see with your eyes doesn't match the call on the field, and replay doesn't make it right, it's safe to say there's a higher source manipulating the outcomes, and it's not an act of divine intervention. It's cheating…
So many fans have vowed not to watch the Super Bowl this year in protest, but very few will follow through. The Super Bowl has been ingrained in our hearts as the biggest and most important athletic event of the year, and all others, i.e., the World Series, Stanley Cup, NBA Championship, and World Cup, are distant seconds any way you look at it.
I've always watched the Super Bowl for the football. My wife and her friends have always enjoyed the halftime show. Others loved the unique commercials. But now, gambling on the game has risen as the top reason to watch, encouraging more non-football fans to tune in.
Since out-of-home viewership was added to the Nielson ratings in 2021, last year's Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the Forty-Niners ranks highest with 120.3 million main viewers and a 42.1 main rating. There's no reason to believe this year's Super Bowl won't exceed that., especially since President Trump will be in attendance.
Where there's money involved and poor officiating, one has to assume there are no coincidences. One-sided officiating is the rudder that steers the game and dictates the outcome.
So when does it end? The simple answer is, "It doesn't." Officiating will always play a pivotal role in deciding the Super Bowl Champ, and unfortunately, that begins way back in Week 1.
With all things considered, sorry, Eagles fans, but it's hard to bet against the Chiefs to Three-peat and become the first team in NFL history to do it. It's what the NFL and its Commissioner Roger Goodell want… (Goodell's estimated worth is 200 mil)

And despite who takes home the Lombardi Trophy, Hailee Steinfeld will still be my pick for the first lady of the NFL!
