Myles Garrett Lit Up Like A Christmas Tree At The Idea Of Being Traded To The Commanders
Like a damn Christmas Tree!
10 years in the league, supposed to give a PC answer and say he'd be happy to play anywhere and blah blah blah, but literally could not hide his excitement at the idea of playing for the Commanders. Even went as far to say he would like to fill the pass rushing role for them. He obviously then caught himself and said lots of teams need that role, but I mean, we all saw it. He wants to be in Washington. And lemme tell ya, Washington wants him in it, no pause.
Football knowers know how good Myles Garrett is. But I think he's still criminally underrated because he has been wasting away on the god forsaken Browns his entire Hall of Fame career. He's given everything to Cleveland, and in return they have given him shit back. I don't often "feel bad" for the super elite athletes, but Myles Garrett has played 8 years in Cleveland and has had enough of their bullshit and you absolutely cannot blame him, especially when his numbers look like this:

And think about it- having Jayden on his rookie contract allows this to happen. We can pay for Garrett and another top free agent right now because Jayden is on the rookie deal which makes so much more possible.
So let's go ahead and pick up the phone, give them a 1st, a 2nd, and Payne, and make this trade happen. Two firsts you say? Fair enough, you run a tough bargain but let's at least get a 3rd back as well. Deal. Perfect. Myles Garrett, welcome to Washington.
