Praise The Lord! Pete Alonso Is Still A New York Met!

Praise the lord! Praise the lord! Listen it’s very rare the New York Mets do things right. For a long period of time it always felt like the fans were being let down (usually in painful painful ways) so many times. So many WTF or LOLMets moments, which was brutal because the fanbase is so diehard and so much fun. 

For years it always felt like we would never shake that black cloud above our heads. (yes old fans got to experience 69 and 86 but as someone born in 87, I speak for a generation of fans who have no titles). I am now happy to report that black cloud is gone. The Wilpons are gone and Stevie endless pockets Cohen is here PROMISING a title as a fan himself. It’s a new world order … a good world order. And this is another step in the right direction. 

Pete Alonso is a met through and through. Home grown… been through the thick of it and now we’re on the precipice of having a STACKED team that can really compete with the robot alien super team Dodgers. Pete Alonso deserved to see that through. He deserves to be in a lineup hitting in between a superstar and an up and coming superstar. He deserves to play in more meaningful games and more importantly he deserves to do that being a New York Met and I’m happy to report tonight that is the case. I’m so happy he’s back and I’m so happy this team will have him on it. He’s our guy though it all…let’s ride it out together. We love you Pete, now go win a title!
