There Was A 10-Man MMA Royal Rumble In Spain Yesterday With NO Weight Classes, Which Was Just As Insane As It Sounds

There's a YouTuber in Spain by the name of Jordi Wild who has been putting on these INSANE fight cards with handicap matches, car fights, medieval battles, team matches, and now no-weight-class Royal Rumbles - and somehow he keeps getting these things commissioned and upping the stakes every time. 

Don't get me wrong, I think it's wildly entertaining, despite fearing for the health and safety of a lot of these guys - but we've struggled clearing random shit with commissions at Rough N Rowdy, where it's just a standard tough man amateur boxing match! Meanwhile in Spain we've got a guy as big as the mountain just launching featherweights outta the ring in Spain, and if you stick around long enough, you can just watch the night unfold into more and more of a fever dream....

Maybe we just gotta take Rough N Rowdy overseas and get real wacky with it!

Credit to the brave son of a bitch who bumrushed the big fella to eliminate him from the Rumble, by the way. I thought he was going to be an easy winner there and was shocked when he get thrown out. That was the play of the game in my eyes.

I'm not sure if everyone remembers the first ever 'Boca Raton Wet The Beak Ponzi Scheme Awareness Bowl presented by Pardon My Take presented by Barstool Sports' back in 2016 - but we actually had an intern Royal Rumble with pretty much the same ruleset as this for the halftime show. No weight classes, stops in the action after every elimination, and complete and utter chaos the entire time. Here's a clip of me dummying that asshole Tommy Smokes from that night....

I guess the only difference between ours and theirs was that we didn't end with an MMA fight when it was down to the final two competitors - we had Glenny Balls and (former) Intern David dunk their heads in buckets of water before flipping over stools to find a half spent Outback Steakhouse gift card. Glenny actually sliced his finger open and had to go to the hospital to get stitches after that, though - and Dave took him, kinda hilarious in hindsight - so it was pretty hardcore.

In other MMA news, UFC is LIVE from Saudi Arabia right now and we've already seen some good finishes and fights….
