The NC State/Duke Broadcast Was So Bizarre That A Slow-Mo Replay Of Khaman Maluach Puking EVERYWHERE Wasn't The Weirdest Thing To Happen

You see that stuff written out in a tweet and assume there's no way it all happened in one game, right? Well, that's the magic of Cory Alexander. You get this quote:

He may have been trying to talk about Flagg's shoes or the anniversary of his death, frankly I don't remember watching it live because of all the other weird stuff that happened, but Cory Alexander, what the fuck dude? If you're talking about someone who died, you can't say 'for those who may not know'. It's been 5 years! Pretty sure there isn't one person watching that game who found out from you that Kobe died.

I mentioned the other weird shit. How about Khaman Maluach puking EVERYWHERE

Just an absurd amount of towels to clean that up

Scheyer went on to explain he simply drank too much Gatorade while cramping. Sure, that's normal. That's how you puke that much. Ridiculous to call a foul on NC State during that play. You can't have a guy yakking his brains out and call a foul on someone else. Gotta offset at a minimum.

But right after that, perhaps the most bizarre part of ESPN's broadcast:

Nothing like zooming in on a student getting ragdolled out of there as she's passed out. Luckily, everything seems to be okay:

How do you not cut to a commercial or anything else in that scenario? The whole game was fucking bizarre. Then again, this is what happens when you have Cory Alexander blabbering on the call, a shitty broadcast and basically gave up on college basketball like ESPN has. Just the weirdest broadcast we'll get all year. This wasn't some mid-major, this was Duke. This was the first Big Monday of the year and this is what we got. I really haven't seen anything like this or heard anything like that I should say. Somehow the slow-mo puke replay felt like nothing.
