NOOOOOOOOOO: The Mike McCarthy Era Is Over In Dallas, Jerry Decides To 'Part Ways' Because They Couldn't Agree On Length Of Contract
NOOOO! What was all that 'he's a great coach' bullshit, Jerry? Where's the loyalty?
You can't 'part ways' with the guy! It's not his fault that people got hurt, you brought back Zeke Elliott and continue to never win a playoff game. You gotta give Mike McCarthy time. You gotta give him another year and see what happens when Dak comes bak healthy and they 100% draft Ashton Jeanty. I also don't understand why every report has words like 'part ways.' It's sports. It's okay to say he was fired or not brought back. We don't care about the legality of contracts and wording having to be correct. We're all dumb enough to just say he was fired anyways.
At the same time, I'm excited to laugh at the Cowboys coaching search. Look at this simple question by Big Cat:
I've seen names like Mike Tomlin, Deion Sanders, Nate trying to wish Ron Rivera on them, me trying to get Jason Garrett back on the sidelines, Steve Sarkisian, basically every name floated out there. Give me all the stupidity of trades, convincing guys to come to Dallas and starting over. All this while Jerry still runs the show. Of course he'll try to make the splash hire (Ben Johnson) or the name (Deion). I want to see it play out where we get Dak trade rumors just so the Cowboys can hire Deion and draft Shedeur.
I don't care if McCarthy ends up in Chicago or New Orleans like the reports have him. I'm gonna miss seeing him in Dallas. Gonna miss seeing him awkwardly sit next to Jerry Jones as Jerry rambles on and somewhat insults him. Bring him back, Jerry.
