Checking In On The One Horse Race In The SEC, And Michigan Might Fuck Around And Win The Big 10
So last episode, earlier this week, Titus and I got into a little tiff about the tiers within the Southeastern Conference. He said it was Auburn and then everybody else. I said that was disrespectful to the #1 ranked, undefeated Tennessee Volunteers. And that last a good....15 minutes? Hand up, I was wrong. Titus was right. Tennessee proceeded to go to Gainsville and get beat by no less than 100 points to the Gators. And as it stands today, Auburn is head and shoulders the best team in a loaded conference, with teams like Florida, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi State, and way too many others all biting at their ankles.
As for the Big Ten, as much as it pains us to say it, Michigan is going to win, aren't they? They just passed their West Coast Test with flying colors by beating both USC and UCLA rather handedly. Plus, with the unbalanced scheduling gives them only one bout with Illinois, and it's in Ann Arbor. So while Tom Izzo and Michigan State will certainly have something to say about it in their two meetings with the Wolverines, I'm disgustingly starting to think the Big Ten runs through Danny Wolf and Dusty May this year...
