'That's Bullshit!' - Shane Gillis Telling The Backstory Of How He Pissed Off Nick Saban On Live TV Makes The Whole Situation Even Funnier

A few weeks ago we all saw this. Shane Gillis out here calling Nick Saban 'Alabama Jones' and cracking jokes about paying players. A dangerous, dangerous game because as Dave says, Saban might come out of retirement on a pure spite tour. Plus, Saban is terrifying. I don't care who you are, how famous you are, how rich you are. Nick Saban is fucking terrifying. He has the voice, he has the stare, he has the hat. And now we know the backstory here: 

Fucking hilarious. I would do a lot to see the uncut video of Nick Saban looking around for help as Shane Gillis is standing there, staring at him from the field. You know Saban was just muttering shit under his breath that probably sounded like Joe Pesci in Home Alone. 

Not to mention, what a move by McAfee and Herbstreit to basically egg Gillis on. They know he's not going to back down from making jokes to Saban's face. And if Saban is joking here at all (I doubt it based on the story) he's one hell of an actor. He's been awesome on GameDay. He's letting loose a bit and him getting pissed off at Gillis would be perfect. Give me more moments like this on TV. If Saban is going to be there, let guys like Gillis make jokes to his face and let Saban fire back. I don't care if it's real or not. Hell bring Gillis back somehow and just have him and Saban sit facing each other for an hour and I'll watch/listen.
