Jags Owner Shad Khan Says He'll Fire Trent Baalke If A New Coach Gives Him A Good Reason To ... With Baalke Sitting On The Call With Him

I can't stop laughing at Shad Khan just openly saying he'll consider firing Trent Baalke as he sits there. Now, sure, Jags fans are begging for Baalke to get fired. It's almost a miracle he's still the GM of the Jags. But now he's gotta do the job search that could lead to him losing his job. Incredible situation to be put it and honestly, credit to Baalke for not making a reaction as Khan is saying this. That's job security right there. He knows he's still hanging out in Jacksonville as fans lose their goddamn minds over it. 

I know I can't say much because the Giants are a joke of an organization, but this really just sums up the Jags right here. Every fan is begging for Baalke to be gone. It's not like they've been successful or going on some deep playoff runs (at least not one without Bortles). There's nothing that Baalke can truly point out, besides Brian Thomas Jr. being awesome, and everyone be like yeah he needs more time. 

What we need to find out though is what exactly is a good reason here. Is it Ben Johnson coming in and saying he'll only take the job if Baalke leaves? Even if it's not Ben Johnson, use whoever they think is the number 1 coaching option. I do appreciate the honesty from Khan. We need more of that, even if the guy who may or may not get fired is sitting right next to you. Can't be blindsided now if a new coach wants him out.
